The Forge

Kaiju Gear started with one complaint: most “premium” gloves are designed to look good in a product photo and fall apart by week three. Mk.01 is patterned off the gloves fight teams actually rewrap between rounds — leather that holds its shape, foam that doesn’t pack down, and stitching that outlasts the leather around it.
We’re not a factory catalog brand. The first run is small on purpose — small enough that a person, not a QA script, checks every pair before it leaves the workshop.
Cut
Full-grain hides are hand-cut panel by panel — no die-stamping, no wasted grain direction.
Mold
The knuckle plate is heat-molded to a contoured strike surface instead of pressed flat.
Stitch
Double-stitched seams along every load path: knuckle, thumb saddle, wrist wrap.
Test
Every pair is pad-tested by hand before it's boxed. Uneven padding gets scrapped, not shipped.

Questions
When do orders ship?
First-run pairs ship within 5–7 business days of the drop closing. You'll get tracking the moment it leaves the workshop.
How do I pick a size?
Kaiju Mk.01 runs true to standard boxing/MMA glove sizing. If you're between sizes, size down — the leather break-in adds room.
Lace or velcro — what's the difference?
Same glove, same price, same padding. Lace gives a tighter, more locked-in wrap for camp and competition; velcro is faster to get on and off solo. Pick whichever you'll actually use.
What if the first run sells out?
Join the waitlist. You'll be notified the moment a restock date is confirmed, before it's public.
Is there a return policy?
Unworn pairs in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Worn pairs are final sale for hygiene reasons.
