Privacy Policy

When you create an account, place an order, or join our waitlist, we collect the information needed to do that: your email address, name (if you provide one), shipping address, and order details (product, colorway, size, closure, quantity). If you opt in to our newsletter, we keep a record of that preference.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details ourselves — see “Payment information” below.

We use your information to process and fulfill orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, maintain your account and order history, respond to support requests, and — only if you’ve opted in — send occasional news, restock alerts, and offers. We don’t sell your information to third parties.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never pass through or get stored on our own servers. Stripe’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run KAIJU GEAR, each of which processes some of your data on our behalf, only for the purpose of providing that service:

• Clerk — account creation and sign-in
• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — order and account data storage
• Resend — order confirmation emails
• Vercel — website hosting
• Cloudflare — domain, DNS, and email routing

Signing in uses cookies set by Clerk to keep you logged in. Checkout uses cookies set by Stripe for fraud prevention. Your cart and theme preference (light/dark) are stored locally in your browser, not on our servers, until you check out.

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and warranty/return purposes. You can request deletion of your account data at any time — see “Your rights” below.

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data (subject to what we’re required to keep for legal/accounting reasons) by emailing hello@kaijugear.com.

KAIJU GEAR is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
